Justin Bieber rocks a big grin again! The singer shared an update on his facial mobility on Wednesday (March 15). Bieber looked around the camera while Tems’ Ice T played in the background. subtitled, “wait for it” Justin showed movement in his brow and eyes before zooming in on his enhanced smile.
Last summer, Justin revealed his face was temporarily paralyzed after being diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt Syndrome. Bieber shared his health condition after fans complained online about canceled tour dates. In a video posted to social media, Bieber said the condition, a severe virus, had affected the right side of his face, forcing a half-smile.

“As you can see, that eye doesn’t blink,” he said in June 2022. “I can’t smile on that side of my face. That nostril doesn’t move, so that side of my face is completely paralyzed. So for those who are frustrated by my cancellations of the next shows, I’m just obviously not physically able to do them. This is pretty serious as you can see. I wish that wasn’t the case.”
Justin warned fans last year that it was only a matter of time before his facial movements returned. He mentioned that facial exercises are part of his recovery process.
“It’s just time and we don’t know how long it will be, but it will be fine. And I have hope and I trust God and I trust that this is all for a reason,” Justin said in the 2022 video.
About three months later in September, Justin decided to cancel the remainder of his world tour to continue his recovery.
He broke the news by saying:
“After resting and consulting with my doctors, family and team, I went to Europe to continue the tour. I played six live shows, but it was really, really challenging. Last weekend I performed at Rock in Rio and gave everything I had to the people of Brazil. After exiting this phase, exhaustion took over and I realized that I must now make my health a priority. So I’m going to take a break from touring for now. I’m fine, but I need time to rest and get better.”
Justin took the stage again in November – this time as a tribute to Takeoff at his funeral. The Migos rapper was fatally shot in Houston this month after an argument outside a bowling alley.

Although the video is the first we’ve seen of his face in action, Justin also shared a side view of his big grin three days ago as he was pictured with his wife Hailey Bieber.
On February 7, the pop singer shared two selfies on Instagram– one alone and the other with friends in a vehicle. In the solo shot, he leans over and captures fish in a pond and a slight smile with his mouth closed. In the group picture he had the same facial expression.
After analyzing the photos, we should note that it appears that the right side of his smile wasn’t curved up as much as the left. This could mean Justin’s improved grin is a new blessing!
