At a meeting with billboardrapper “Wockesha” spoke about his decision to share more about his life on social media.

“She’d mentioned it before, but [as far as] I put my foot on the ground and just really kept going and moving forward. I took the initiative to just do it.
He continued, adding that fans were really “embracing” the content.
“People have embraced it. Like the workout stuff, I don’t even know they would accept that one.

Moneybagg on his “chemistry” with GloRilla & advice for new artists
Moneybagg Yo also spoke about his collaboration with GloRilla, “On What U On.”
While there “should have been a very different artist before Glo”, Moneybagg eventually decided to bring his Memphian colleague onto the record.

In terms of what contributed to his own success in the rap game, Moneybagg noted that he believes his music resonates with fans because of his bravery and “persevering.”[s] with what is going on in the culture.”
“I think I keep up with what’s going on in the culture. And I’m not afraid of anything. For example, I’m not afraid to say certain words or say certain things.”
