According to a tipster, Lava Blaze 2 could soon be launched in India. Founded in 2009, the private label enjoyed a few years of market presence with its affordable and feature-rich smartphones. However, international smartphone giants such as Samsung and Xiaomi have expanded their portfolio of mobile phones to include entry-level and affordable smartphones, while the Indian smartphone brand has taken a back seat. The company launched the Lava Z series in 2021, followed by the Lava Blaze 5G last year. Lava is now poised to launch another entry-level smartphone in the country.
according to a tweet by Tipster Mukul Sharma, Lava could be preparing to launch a new smartphone in India called Lava Blaze 2. The tipster suggests that this entry-level smartphone could hit Indian markets in April. He also suggests that the smartphone could be equipped with a Unisoc T616 SoC. The smartphone is said to be priced under Rs. 10,000
The tipster also shared a first look image of the alleged Lava Blaze 2, which suggests the phone will have a glass back. This seems to give the phone a more premium look compared to other models that sit in the country’s cheapest category of smartphones. The handset can be seen in the image in an unspecified shade of orange.
The smartphone can also be seen with a dual rear camera housed in two large circular cutouts. An LED flash can also be seen next to the rear cameras in the leaked image.
Other hardware specifications of the handset are yet to be announced, such as: B. the display size, the battery capacity or whether it supports fast charging. However, if the proposed April launch timeline is taken into account, more details are likely to be leaked or revealed in the coming days leading up to launch.
