Infinix Hot 30i was launched in India on March 27th as the latest smartphone of the Infinix Hot series. The upcoming smartphone, which will succeed last year’s Infinix Hot 20i, has also been teased by the Chinese smartphone brand through official first look images shared on social media. Now, ahead of its official launch, the upcoming entry-level Infinix Hot 30i has reportedly been spotted on the Google Play Console, revealing some of the key specs it could expect.
according to a report An Infinix smartphone with the model number Infinix X6999 was spotted on the Google Play Console by PriceBaba. The handset is believed to be the officially announced Infinix Hot 30i, the successor to last year’s Infinix Hot 20i.
The upcoming entry-level smartphone has been officially confirmed by the Chinese smartphone maker and is set to launch in India on March 27, with a 90Hz refresh rate and up to 16GB of RAM. It has also been confirmed that the smartphone will come in three color options – Diamond White, Glacier Blue and Mirror Black with a glass-like finish. The official marketing images suggest a dual-camera configuration on the back and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for biometric verification.
The Google Play Console listing reportedly revealed some additional specs to be expected on the Infinix Hot 30i in terms of processor, RAM and Android version number. The listing noted that the smartphone could come with a Unisoc T606 SoC under its hood, an octa-core chip based on a 12nm process that packs two Cortex-A75 and six Cortex-A55 cores includes, coupled with a Mali-G57 MP1. This is a significant improvement over the Infinix Hot 20i, which ships with a MediaTek Helio G25 SoC with eight Cortex-A53 cores.
The Infinix Hot 30i Google Play Console listing suggests a 4GB RAM version running on Android 12 OS. However, the company has already confirmed that the smartphone will pack up to 16 GB of RAM. Its predecessor, the Infinix Hot 20i, was launched with two versions – one running on Android 12 and one running on Android 12 Go Edition. However, there is no indication that the Infinix Hot 30i will also arrive in multiple Android versions.
Other rumors surrounding the upcoming entry-level smartphone say it could feature a 6.6-inch IPS display, a 50-megapixel primary sensor and a 6,000mAh battery. The smartphone is also rumored to be launching as part of a range that also includes a vanilla Infinix Hot 30 and an Infinix Hot 30 Play model.
