Ford Bronco prices seem to be on the rise again - Autoblog

New car prices are high, and dealers are still marking up some, especially the most desirable vehicles. Earlier this year, Ford raised the price of the Bronco significantly, and now, keen eyes on the Bronco6G forum have seen another round of increases. The upcoming hikes, according to what appears to be a Ford memo to dealers posted by user Alpha1_Silverback, range from $500 for some two-door models to $1,250 for the Heritage Limited Edition Series two-door. Some four-door Broncos are up $750. Ford is also apparently upping the options packages, with a $750 bump for the Lux Package, $750 for the Sasquatch Package, $150 for the modular front bumper and $1,200 for the Carbonized Gray molded-in-color hardtop. Some variants come with a soft top as standard, but the price increase for the Sasquatch package makes it over $6,000. The increase will be effective from today, March 15. According to the memo, Ford also has price protection for buyers with orders before that date. Orders must be signed and dated by March 14 and received by Ford by March 20. Whatever the case, the changes have caused confusion on Bronco forums. Users asked several questions, including whether this round of price protection works with the last round and if paying the reservation fee exempts them from the price hike. Although forum users are usually right, it’s worth noting that the price increase was not reflected in Ford’s configurator as of this morning. When Autoblog reached out to Ford, a representative said only that “the Bronco is one of our most popular vehicles and we continue to sell every Bronco we produce. Customers can check with their local Ford dealer for the latest pricing.” The Bronco’s pricing hasn’t dampened enthusiasm for the SUV. It is almost impossible to buy from a dealer without an order and some claim wait times as long as two years for certain models. Some configurations take longer than others, with many forum users saying that the V6, Hardtop, and Sasquatch packages have the longest waits.
