Amino Health, Motive Practicing Wisely unveil way to bolster ACO performance -Dlight News

Amino Health, a healthcare navigation platform, and Motive Practicing Wisely Solutions, a provider of analytics solutions for the healthcare industry, unveiled this week Amino Motivate, an accountable care organization (ACO) optimization solution that integrates data-driven physician performance analytics and consulting services.

The aim of Amino Motivate is to provide detailed analysis that compares ACO physicians to peers in comparable networks that centers on cost, quality and relevance of care.

The offering identifies key areas for improvement that enable ACOs to make decisions about resource allocation and care strategies.

It also addresses enhanced patient care by supporting ACOs in upgrading their operations to deliver better patient outcomes and a higher level of care.

Additionally, the platform aims to foster increased engagement by integrating an ACO’s current health solutions into a single platform that steers members to the most relevant benefits.

“Health care organizations are constantly seeking ways to improve performance and patient care,” Jeanne Cohen, chief executive officer of Motive Practicing Wisely, said in a statement.

“Our partnership with Amino Health allows us to provide ACOs with the detailed, data-driven insights and services they need to achieve these goals.”

John Asalone, chief executive officer of Amino Health, said the company’s collaboration with Motivate represents a significant step forward in healthcare performance evaluation.

“By leveraging our combined strengths, we can provide ACO clients with market-tested solutions that drive collaboration and meaningful improvements in care delivery,” Asalone said.

THE LARGER TREND

Amino Health secured $10 million earlier this year in a round led by Transformation Capital. The funds were used to expedite Amino’s AI product roadmap to build personalized patient care journeys.

Last year, Amino received $42 million in credit financing from Oxford Finance as part of an $80 million raise earlier in the year. The company said it will use the funds to speed up growth, add to its team, expand its market reach and advance its technology infrastructure.

In April, Quest Analytics partnered with Motive Practicing Wisely to offer Quest Analytics clients comprehensive physician-specific information accessible within a singular platform to build high-quality, high-performing provider networks.

In 2023, Motive Practicing Wisely unveiled Evidence-Based Goldcarding for physicians, an offering that aims to avoid unnecessary costs for patients, improve safety and help physicians practice appropriately.

Goldcarding attempts to address difficulties in the approval process exemption. Motive’s platform maps directly to prior authorization rules that payers use and deploy, oversees a physician’s practice and revises payers every six months on the conduct of physicians operating under goldcards.

Other companies that offer analytics solutions for the healthcare industry include Arcadia Analytics, which provides a cloud-based data platform for health providers to advance care and research, drive strategic growth and reach financial success.

IBM Watson Analytics is a branch of IBM Watson Health, which includes social program management, clinical development and decision support. Employers, health plans, benefits advisors and governments may use it to make decisions faster.

Health Catalyst offers analytical applications, data warehousing and outcomes-improvement services. The company’s machine learning-driven solutions integrate disparate data from across the healthcare ecosystem.

McKesson’s data analytics platform utilizes supply chain analytics to protect investments, track assets, and minimize risk and repetition. It focuses on patient engagement that can help address hospital readmissions to care collaboration.
